Located right on the ski slopes, Akakura Central is a perfect choice for those wanting to make the most of their time up on the ski hill in Myoko Kogen. The hotel is simple and adequate offering clean and comfortable hotel rooms in both Japanese and western styles, breakfast inclusive, a dining room, a coffee shop, souvenir shop, games room, laundry and ski storage.
The Akakura Central Hotel is located in the ski area offering ski in/ski out access. Transfers from Tokyo will drop you off directly at the property, if you are catching the train to JR Myokokogen Interchange take a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel or a bus to Akakura Onsen Iriguchi bus stop, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from there. Car parks are limited and is not recommended.
There are 51 rooms with a choice of Japanese, western or combination style rooms to select from. Some come with private ensuites, others have access to shared men’s or women’s bathroom facilities. All rooms are equipped with satellite/pay-per-view TV, telephone, bar fridge, toiletries, hairdryer, tea & coffee facilities and a yukata (cotton robe that can be worn in the hotel). The Japanese rooms feature tatami flooring and futon bedding, with the western and combination rooms offering western beds.

The Akakura Central Hotel's onsen, or hot springs, use completely natural water from a source high on Mt. Myoko.
